So I’m really liking these colors. Cadmium Red, Ice Blue, Emerald Green and Cashmere yellow as the primary palette, then Pale Cherry Pink, Pale Blue Gray and Black as secondary.
I feel like there are multiple combinations of three or four that look great together so that gives us a lot of options for different moods in the drawings and notes.
The yellow is the least true so if you want nudge that one over more toward yellow let me know and we can try it. I kind of like that it can go towards beige or yellow depending on the context and other colors it’s used with.
I like this mix. It has a “primary colors” feel but it’s not “straight out of the tube,” which is no-no in painting class!
It’s funny because I left that note in Notion about no way having time to make unique images for each episode but with this easy approach of sketching and paint pens, the process is super quick.
I have a sketchpad for you and the black writing marker but I have to order the Copic pens. The art store only has one pen in each color — and I’ve purchased these ones!
Guess what, the pens are refillable!!
